Is the trailing arm (one that takes the spring/shock) bent from the '' side '' impact OR is it bent towards the ground
If it's bent towards the ground --- then the problem will be that the either the spring is too weak (lbs rating) OR that the shock has been set too low on the bottom platform . Either of these two things will lead to the spring/shock becoming a solid item ie -- no piston travel within the shock body -------- the trailing arm would then have no option but to bend .
If it's bent from the side I'd assume the car's been curbed at speed
