Full system to be removed for Stylus to make way for user tunable system, anyone interested please let me know I am willing to help out with the refitting to anyone on here, might be good basis for carb to injection conversion? below is a copy of my ebay add, as it says is still in car BRG stylus ex of a few members on here, so engine can be heard/ seen running with it on.

Complete Weber Alpha Gold Kit ( see here http://www.webcon.co.uk/alpha/AlphaPlusKits.html) I will confirm which part number shortly, system currently fitted to 1.8 zetec, will fit 2lt also but may need re-map for this, currently fitted to car can be heard running if required, kit was purchased new in 2001 and has since done 17k miles on car. I am selling as plan to upgrade engine in near future, weber system is very good but need weber approved tuner http://www.webcon.co.uk/alpha/dealers.htm to carry out any tweaks and being in the North of Scotland this is a long drive! currently fitted in kit car but would imagine it could be fitted in focus etc, I will be taking the system out once it has been purchased to give any potential buyer the chance to hear or see in car, by all means if you are local you are welcome to aid on the removal to get a better idea on the installation. will leave the system as whole as possible. Due to this I would estimate 1-2 week until I can post after end of auction. Postage price is estimate I do not see it being more than this if it is I will cover it, if it isn’t will refund the difference.

List of what is to be included:

More or less everything needed other than standard sensors

ECU fitted with EPROM for 1.8 Zetec
Original EPROM- It was changed to eliminate flat spot by previous owner- I have not tried this so cannot say if this is correct or not
Inlet manifold to suit zetec head
40mm Webber throttle bodies with ram pipes and socks
Air temperature sensor
Throttle position sensor
4x Injectors- not sure what size but they are correct for application
Engine only loom- will mark ends to correspond with sensors- Loom is not the neatest in places
Throttle linkage
Fuel rail
Fuel pressure regulator
Original manual
Will take photographs on removal and document to aid installation
Bits of fuel hoses etc Would recommend replacement of these anyway
NOT Included:

Sensors other than mentioned above
Ignition coil/ leads/ EDIS
Manifold to head bolts/studs
Technical support- I am new to this so not the best to advise on technical issues, Weber should be able to offer support
Warranty/ guarantee
Zetec? cold start valve Note: current system is setup with Cold start valve to work as choke, this will not be included options are to use valve I believe a standard Zetec item, increase throttle position on start up or use a manual choke- sure there are other ways round this but I am not sure.

I would recommend getting a rolling road session after fitting this kit to ensure map is correct for your engine, local Weber approved tuners can be found here: http://www.webcon.co.uk/alpha/dealers.htm I do not accept any responsibility for damage caused by running engine with this kit- as I say it works in current application.

I Had the same problem, but why get a new set of throttle bodies?
I sold my Alpha+ ecu for £400 on ebay & I paid £1k for a DTA ecu fitted & mapped, so cost me £600 in the end.....

Mainly i feel the system is better complete especially to someone doing a carb to bodies conversion, I am still undetermined on choke size required for future engine up grades and swaps also so may be looking to increase body size to 45mm.

Good to know there are buyers out there for these systems though, does seem good and being weber will be reliable once setup correctly.

Decided not to sell at the moment due incorrectly balanced set will look to ballane prior to selling so new owner can bolt on and go, dont want to pass my issues onto someone else. Anyone still interested let me now though as shouldnt be long and they will be going.
