I'll be selling my 4 wheel Brian James Minno trailer , as soon as I locate one I want to replace it with . It's recently had a complete brake cables/shoes/bearings refurbish at £280 plus new tyres on one axle 2 years ago , the other axle 3 years ago , so all in very good condition ---- I only do 900/1000 miles a year with the trailer. Lights all good and being galvanised , the chassis is totally clear of any rust.
I'll put it on ebay once I replace it but looking for £1300 ---- deal for any member here of course  PM for photos via email if interested.

Well , you've already got more grunt in that Audi V8 than my 260bhp Alfa ----------- I can feel the blood running down my arm already
I'm about an hour away from winning the trailer I'm after , so hope nobody wants it more than me

I use goofBid and always set it up to bid 1 sec from the end. made some savings, also lost some.

When it comes to big stuff I always contact them and see if they will deal outside of eBay and then I can give them cash. Win win most of the time :)

SOLD and delivered to Bewdley today . Not bad really , bought brand new in 1997 so I could collect the Stylus chassis kit then again for the body kit and spay job/sva etc. Over that time/17 yrs it's lost just £350 :o
So I've got three months to find a replacement , having missed two so far it looks like hard going :) The newer one made £1651 the other one made £1950 and was older but had all sorts of extras. I just need the sub 1600kgs max weight and the slide-out ramps which only comes with a Minnomax , to suit the Alfa 'legal' max towing

Bought an A-MAX 2 yrs old with the glide-out ramps , just 8 inches wider so it'll have to store in the front of house/drive , as won't gp past the house. Has the foldaway towbar which means it's over 3 ft shorter to store BUT no deck fitted ----- shall have to find where to buy Buffalo board cheapest then fit myself. Had to ignore the Alfa tow limit though , although with Stylus on board it still only weighs 1130 kgs so probably not a big deal ' police ' wise  MAX gross on trailer plate is 2000 kgs which would be illegal for the Alfa.

If you're concerned could you see if they will re-plate it lower for you? I know with caravans they can get them uprated for a small fee so no reason why they couldn't be down rated for a similar fee.

Yes , that's right Rob but was sort of tongue in cheek about really ---- just hoping I'd be ignored , unless of course ever envolved in an incident then they'd check it out :o
WHY --- well because on occasions it would be handy to be able to put a heavier car on it like I did last year , on a hired heavier duty trailer to collect a classic car I bought that weighed 1.4 tonnes  Trailered it home from STOKE ON TRENT without attracting any attention , just at a gentle 50/55mph over 300 miles overall  If you don't tow often then you tend to be noticed through inexperience , letting it rock around or start to zig-zag etc. I've towed trailers since I was 16yrs with just a tractor licence plus many other heavy weight two and four wheelers , livestock double deckers etc.
Thanks for the hint though , a good idea if not likely to trailer over the 1.5 tonnes gross allowed for my Alfa. Send me a PM with your email and I'll send photos :)

I'm lucky I have a 2100kg towing limit for my Audi (A4 3litre V6 diesel quattro) so when our 1435kg caravan is attached I hardly notice it.
It gives some people a surprise at the lights when I still accelerate quicker than them when the van is attached :)

Likewise with my Alfa 159ti 260bhp (not legally max high enough) but will push really hard even when the 1.420 tonnes Wolseley was on the trailer. Having said that , I mostly tow under the 60mph trailer limit these days , even at 5 o'clock in the morning.
