Hi, I've just been looking thru the link to the draft IVA that Werner added and now I'm panicking!
The quote below is from page 51, does this mean that the bias bar pedal box that I just fitted is now junk?

Secondary
4. The vehicle must be fitted with a split (dual) circuit brake system with each part of the
system operating on at least two wheels (one on each side), capable of operating in
the event of a failure of the service brake or its power assistance

If you have a bias bar then you have two braking systems --- one to the front --- one to the rear  isn't that exactly what they are demanding i.e. you have a cylinder for each circuit , each capable of working without the other :?:

That part is also in the SVA manual, so don't worry. But make sure you put split pins through the threaded parts as it's not allowed to be adjustable!!!

split pins can always fall out after SVA

Something like tha Sierra master cylinder also has split circuits front and back, so not a worry.

Thanks for that, I re-read the IVA draft at 4am and it seemed to make more sense!!
I was convinced that I had read the word 'Diagonal' somewhere in there, but I can't find it now:!:

diagonal comes into the picture when it's about ABS, probably mixed up some stuff
