Thanks Guys, also to Rob. Have had time to look at the setup & the fold down panel idea looks good. I assume you hinged it from the bottom front edge of the bar that the doors hinge from & the Str/wheel column bolts onto ? I have bracketed this bar to the top two bars over the g/box --- stop sideways movement when the doors are opened. The size of the ECU & the Relay / Fuze panel will mean that I have to put the ECU on the left (passenger side) & the Fuze panel on the right of the Str. Column. However it should all fit. What sort of hinge system did you use ? Fixed or removable hinge ? (pull the hinge pin out to drop the panel off ?) Also, the wiring will be on the same side,( front ) of the panel ! It will need to be held up so as not to catch your toes, yet free enough to allow the panel to be folded down !!
What sort of "catch" (strong Magnetic or what?) holds the fold down panels in the UP Position ?

we hinged it at the back and then the retaining mechanism (not yet chosen) will be at the front and so they hinge down. The pic should explain most of what we did anyway!
