any body running the above combination ?

I am considering upgrading my GSX Throttle bodies to Jenveys and am not sure whether to go for the long or short option. The jenvey leaflet lists the long bodies as requiring a total length of 218 mm from the head to the end of the body - my current gsx's are approx 210mm and clearance is tight

What length bodies & air filter have you used ?

Here's a pick of my old 2ltr silvertop zetec setup, about 5 mins after I'd cut the front off & about 15 before the engine came out for good.
(Blimey does that look a simple layout compared to what's in the car now  )

Difficult to see, but its the long version Jenveys (DCOE replacement), with 2" ali rampipes & ITG dual port air filters, all on a Raceline inlet manifold.
It was reasonably tight, but did all fit under the bonnet.

The horizontal clearance was never a problem as they went into the void under the wing.
What was more of an issue was the vertical clearance on the front TB pair to the underside of the bonnet gutter (as the bonnet narrows & drop towards the front). I just cleaned it up with a power file to suit.

But a big K&N airbox or similar probably would be a real problem. Rob F has an F3 style airbox under his bonnet, and uses the shorter style TBs from Dunnell.

Mine is the same as Matts photo above.

Short trumpets (2"). With the foam filters. i am trying to sort an air box out with cold air feed at the moment.
As you can see from Matts photo, the foam filters end up in line with the pedal box edge (if thats any help).

Cant comment on the effect of short/long throttle bodys or trumpets. Although longer trumpets are supposed to be best.

to be honest, i'm not sure moving to jenveys would be an upgrade. gsxr tb's flowed 225bhp on my blacktop with a pipercross sausage filter.

My TB's are Dunnell and the trumpets are 115mm's long then the airbox extends at least 50mm's beyond them . I attached a 100mm diameter air tunnell right to the front grill with a BMC cone filter on the end , plus scoop to guide air in. Dunnell advised 150mm's diameter for the air tube but the air box just didn't have enough space . The engine turns out 231bhp 180lbsft . A balanced 1 & 7/8 ths primaries at 28 to 32 inches before the 4 into 1 collecter is needed to get this bhp etc. It turned out 243bhp on the dyno but Dunnell advised it should be dialed down for reliability long term. That was 2006 so probably good advise

You could also take a look at AT throttle bodies. Same power as Jenveys but cheaper and maybe have a better angle than them.
