Race Retro historic racing show is at Stoneleigh later this week.

I shall be there on Friday... picking up Rob on the way :-)

Nev Powell will also be there Friday along with the guy he race engineers for on his Lotus Cortina / Droop Snoop Firenza racers.

After a good browse around and many ' what if's ' thoughts :( I settled on being interested in Millers Oils new nanotechknowledgy engine oil for the Stylus :) I use their competition oil anyway and it only does 3 to 5 events these days in a season BUT decided to drain the sump of it's still very clean Millers CFS (no , not throw it away --- put it in the 1.6lt Corolla plus new filter :P )
My point being , that at the show it was on offer at the special discounted price of £65 a 5lt but being a 'meany' I didn't buy it
Ah BUT ---- found it online at www.caraccessoriesandparts.co.uk at £61 delivered ------ so out came the Stylus oil to service the Corolla , clean as a whistle but put it through a cloth filter anyway.
Now just waiting for delivery plus the special short filter from Dunnell and it'll be ready to go :)
Just shows that special offers aren't always that special

Their website offered free delivery within 7 days , so after phoning them to complain it hadn't arrived within 9 days , they got it to me in 1 litre bottles today at 8-00am along with an extra litre as an apology :D ----- that's service :!:
Apparently Millers hadn't anticipated the demand this soon and the company I bought from had only had their 1lt containers delivered but not the pallet of 5lt containers

Race teams using Millers nanotech gear oil have reported exceptional results and Millers got an 'award' for it's development. Hence developing race engine oil nanodrive and trials with similar results 8)
