Not sure what the Sports Libre standing start times should be but they will be at least 5/6 sec's quicker , being mostly Global , Vision , Mallock type cars --- say 45 to 48 sec's . You can probably find it on the PRESCOTT website from previous race meetings .
My diff is a 4.4 and box ratios 2.04 1.54 1.21 1.0 0.87 --- not sure I've remembered the 5th correctly but she's all out in 5th at 145mph at 8000rpm(rev-cut) down the Lavant straight at Goodwood . Wheels are 15 x 7 with 205 tyres. These were all calculated to suit sprinting at the venues I used to go to before retiring . Goodwood's my play ground now 3 times a year but when seriously chasing points I did 12 to 15 events a year.

I'm at about 4000rpm at 70.... even more of a reason to go the twisty route than the motorway ;)

58 seconds is pretty quick with a passenger, some get that in competition on their own:

Could only find Fury times for Prescott, with a Zetec engined one also recording 58 sec: http://www.resultsman.co.uk/LiveTiming/ ... ventID=532

58.39 was their personal best and tallies with the run times below which are consistently 58.xx . The 54 doesn't seem to relate to anything obvious.

I didn't think I was that quick, especially with Ballast in the car (Fliss) and only a little 1.6 Crossflow under the hood...

Any idea what you did it in Alex from your videos?

I do want another go up that hill though, was great fun :)

I did 57 in the second and third run, the third run felt much more relaxed though; I guess that's the difference of knowing the track. I really want another go at the hill as well and will be on the look out for future events.

PRESCOTT Sports Libre class record is 39 odd sec's but the most recent bests are around 45 to 47 sec's , so I'd have to work very hard to approach those times. At hillclimbs the majority of cars entered in sports libre will be mallocks , vision , adr , global etc etc plus all on slicks/wings.

I think for newby's with passengers on board plus just not set-up for hillclimbs , gearing etc --- we all did very respectable times. If I only did the hills , I'd change the diff , lengthen the travel for suspension and soften it too , plus adjust shocks to suit also increase rake a '' little '' .
