What about you guys near and around Chester and North of there :?: It's a good chance for us to meet as opposed to typing away on this forum  I guess it's about 120 to 150 mile trip from there down the M5 to just before Cheltenham then left off JUNC 9 to Gotherington :?:

It's probably likely to find camping fairly close by or B&B ------- Come on guys , this is probably as close as you'll get mileage wise to a Stylus meet ----- plus a bit of motorsport to watch or get involved in :D

We're so far North it takes time for the internet to load up here :)

I'm not able to commit yet. Working on logistics on how it might happen but can't confirm yet.

Once I have sorted things out and got my passport updated so I can venture so far south I'll let you know. :P

Fingers crossed!

GUYS :!: :!: :!:

Dave Huggett is just 30 or so miles away from Prescott , West of Gloucester and has made a very kind offer to anyone who may want to travel on the Saturday at their liesure  . He has a '' camping barn '' ie has showers , toilets and hot water --- just bring your own sleeping bag & mattress etc ------------------------ there will be NO CHARGE :P (loads of parking space)

He could probably even ''provide'' a breakfast if you'd like :?:

Then you could be at Prescott within an hour from his house , possibly less if you got up early

If you are traveling a long way and fancy his offer then PM me for the address/email :)

Sod the expense :P ----------------------------- I've bought a black and white chequered flag 5ft x 3ft which I will try to get embroidered with CLUB STYLUS 8) We are in the paddock so there'll be no soft ground/grass to put poles or stakes into SO it will be draped across one of our cars in the front row (mirror to mirror) and across the screen to bonnet . Then if that car wants to take it's run up the hillclimb the flag can go onto another car etc etc

Well I thought it would be nice , seeing as we're in a ''stand-out'' position in the paddock , so not having something that says what the cars are and our club's name might be a little odd
I'm tempted to take my eaz-up shelter but experience from the past made me think again (it went walk about in the wind about 8ft in the air almost damaging several other cars in the process  )

I wish I was a lot closer best part of 700 miles round trip and will only be back from hols a fortnight before. So lots of pictures required and hopefully there might even be a dry day.

Cheers George

I told you there'd be a bed available when you feel so inclined

Talking with the organisor again , it seems we will be in the paddock BUT it will be grass :D ---- so a flagpole can be put up by sliding it onto an iron stake that I'll drive in with a club hammer
I asked my friendly seamstress about putting the name on the flag yesterday ----- she say YES :!: --------------- today she turned up with it done , brilliant :P

So all we need now is the pole then I'll stick it up in the garden for a test flight
