You can quite easily do the timings afterwards from the video with a stopwatch, no need to try and set the camera off at the right time.

What time do the gates open as I'd want to be there first thing too but can't see anything online about it.

It looks like you don't buy "individual" runs up the hill but you pay to do a morning session (£30) and/or an afternoon session (£20) so I presume you buy on the day somewhere.

H'mmm , I'll read that again then . If that's so then the day is a real bargain :P --- I read it as £30 or £20 a run :?

Like I said --- tickets are bought on the day

I've had an email from the CAP company to say they've put the logo into production and will soon be receiving a sample for approval 8) Once this arrives and I '' ok '' it , I will want to reply at that time , asking & paying for any additional numbers  (I could take a chance and just increase the order but ££££)

With this in mind --------------- any more of you fancy a CAP please :?: :?: :?:

WELL -------------- I may have over stepped myself BUT the sample has arrived and they wanted a quick answer or I'd miss the manufacturing ' slot '

Here's hoping some more of you want caps ------------ added 10 to the order now :)

Regarding my post ----- '' Tim contacted '' I've been in touch and he says he'd love to be there but can't commit , as he doesn't know at this stage where he'll be on August 19th :?

He was in Holland and had been in France before that plus Belgium before that :o ------- that's just the way his life is right now

If he's in the UK at the time then he'll likely turn up on the day :P

Well, I've just bought the tickets and booked the hotel so looks like I'll be venturing south to join you all.... :D

That's if the weather is kind and the car makes it ;) Too much rain and a car with no roof wouldn't be much fun for 2.5 hours on the boring motorway :?

Just off to start praying for some sun shine :|

Great news :!: When mine was roadgoing , I always took a very large golf type brolly . If it's a shower , now't gets in anyway below 60mph , if it really throws it down then pull over and stick the brolly up for a while , it will just cover windscreen plus side screens ok. Worked for me Rob

If you had caps of course  at least your heads will be dry

Already got a brolly :) I'm already working on making a new waterproof cover for the overnight stops. I did have one but used it so much at kit shows it's worn though in places so not too waterproof now.

Just need to get my stitching head in gear now......all while I have the engine out of the car as well....and need it back in ready for Blyton on the 29th.....

I could really do with a roof as driving in the rain I need wipers on the inside of the screen :(

No camping slots left apparently at PRESCOTT . Actually getting into the venue is £7-50 online but that closes on the 30th July I think --- then it would be £10 on the gate on 19th Aug
What you could do , is contact David Murphy on the retrorides website by emailing the address that says '' let us know if your car needs scrutineering '' ---- that is David who's organising everything.
OR --------- you could stay at Dave Huggett's camping barn for free :P as I mentioned on here in an earlier posting , hot water , loo's etc and he'll maybe provide a breakfast  If that suits , PM me foe his email address ok. He lives around 30 miles from PRESCOTT.
