Quite a few to choose from. I am not sure if we will do the March events. May keep the April Gurston Down event as our 1st of the year.

This year there will be a trophy for the best lady. I think there are 3 girls this year. One of them is in our class with a Lotus & has been faster than me. :oops:

The Stylus is in its usual start of season date. No engine, stripped out interior, patched up war torn flip front. On the plus side it does have an MOT.

You might of noticed that its almost June & we haven't done any events or updated this thread.

Reason being the engine wasn't ready. I have been re building it over winter/spring. Didnt know it would take so long, due to - cold/bad weather & work/spare time, with finding out how its not straight forward building a non standard engine.

Anyway the car is now running. I have done 12 miles :). On Friday its off to the rolling road, so Iam well excited. Never built an engine before & cant believe its running.

Just to remind everyone, on our last outing (june 12). The crank & bearings went. Dry sump oil pump badly scored. Valves tickled pistons. Rods where blue. And bits of the piston cooling jets bent & broken in the sump.
