Adam Wilkins has asked for models of Jeremy Phillips originally desinged cars to be in a photo shoot for the magazine at Donnington on the 10th March. Basically one of each model or possibly more , not totally sure yet. I've emailed him with a pic of the car , apparently that's what's needed . I'm pretty well occupied at the moment looking after my wife after her shoulder operation but hope to get someone in so that I can go , if selected.
His contact is -- adam@performancepublishing.co.uk if you've a mind to enter yours :?:

I had a reply from Adam to say that Donnington on the 10th March is off or at least postponed , due to the lack of model entries :(
He'll be in touch when it can be re-organised.

Its a shame but with a lot of kit owners working choosing a working day is never going to get a good number of entries.

Yes , that's the problem , TOTALKITCAR had the same problem at their CADWELL photoshoot for JP cars in 2005 when Tim and I took our cars up there . There were quite a few but several duplicates as opposed to one of each model . We all had a bit of track time too though , so good fun.

Agreed - I'd make the trip if it were a weekend with a bit more notice.

Well , let's just see what he comes up with next time . I'd take my 4 man tent if camping were allowed then anyone could dive in if it suits. A lot will depend on the timing as I'll soon be sprinting again provided my consultant doesn't suddenly give me an appointment for butchering , I've only been waiting 6 months

The Donnington ''Jeremy Phillips'' designed cars photo shoot is re-arranged for Tuesday 29th April , so I'm up for that if Adam gets enough entries ie. one of each design at least . He phoned me today for confirmation that I could attend. No track time apparently though , just a day out showing off :)

I'm to be there outside the gates before 10-00am meeting up with other cars then follow the signposts to the Exibition Hall apparently. All done and dusted by mid afternoon :) Never been to Donnington so I'll be following the satnav ,

A really good day out , met people previously ony knew online at JPSC forum , also nice to have a chat with Jeremy Phillips who arrived in his latest creation of the J15 but made to use an MGF rear engine and subframe plus suspension etc then bespoke SYLVA front end. The weather going up was variable , raining for 30 odd miles on the M1 but clearing up after junc 21 then sunshine by 11-00am and really warm by lunchtime. Car was sheeted/netted going up but not going home which made packing up easier plus could travel quicker not worrying about the cover coming off :!:
We got started with the photo shoot at around 10-15am at the old race track loop , now called the Heritage site and were all complete by 1-30pm . Ian Stent took us to the museum cafe and sported lunch for all :P
Apparently he'll be posting us the magazine once it's printed plus email some of the photos done today.

Got plenty of photos of the shoot but have lost the ''resize'' ability from ''right clicking'' when wanting to load pics on here or anywhere. If I go directly to '' my pics '' I can resize for emailing , just not uploading to the website :? Bloody PC's
