Hope everybody had a great relaxing , full of good food & wine day yesterday . We had my favourite today :D -------- a nice big lump of roast beef rib , well ribs actually :D plus a cracking bottle / s  of RIOCHA to help it go down well  Could have had nearly 3 gallons of BP Ultimate 8) for the price BUT it's not too digestable is it

Track day wise , me too :D Haven't done anything about it yet though  I was waiting to see the level of interest so's different tracks/costs could be looked at  Goodwood would be absolutely awesome for everybody to stretch their cars but might require some lateral thinking to keep costs attractive. We'd need to invite another large group to get down to 200 plus quid. BUT it's such a very big track so would be worth it. The new JPSC club might fill the bill OR my son belongs to the MG's on track club . They've hired Goodwood before. I think 40 cars is the minimum target for this track to have a cost we might all go for. Brands Hatch , I've already investigated last year and is approx'ly £12,000 along with Donnington at 15,000

the bp ultimate may not digest as well Rob but it certainly has a very nice smell! (not that i condone sniffing petrol)

i'd be interested in another track day. as last year it will depend on my work comitments but i had a great time in the sunshine last year and everyone was really friendly and helpful! i think its a great day for novices, pro's and people who haven't even built yet. you can get so many ideas from others!

look forward to it!

I'll wait a few weeks to gauge response then look more seriously at a venue and date

Hope you all had a good Xmas and wishing you all a happy New Year.

Count me in for a track day or two this year. Same venue suites me for one as it's closest to Forest of Dean but would like another perhaps more technical circuit. Brands suits me if we're going east and perhaps something up north.

Dave.

Merry Xmas and a very happy new year to you all.

I've been very busy in the garage, that's why I'm not online that often. But looks like I'm not the online one being in the garage. :D

I hope to have the car ready by the next trackday, It won't be roadlegal, but hey then I have to trailer it 8)
