Great timesAntnicuk wrote:I took the stylus for its first attempt at drag racing today at santa pod, really pleased, managed an 11.7 and an 11.9 and two 12.1's in reverse order! Had to be gentle with the clutch as on the first run i launched hard and managed a 1.8 60ft but the clutch didnt land all the way up the strip so rolled across the line at 96 mph in 12.6. The other runs were more gentle starts with 2.0 sec ish 60ft times.

That's what being on track does for a car if it looks and goes wellAntnicuk wrote:well I'm doing my bit to raise the profile of the Stylus, I have lost count of how many people have asked me what it is! usually followed by what's in it!
So the tube that your rodend goes into isn't threaded thenAntnicuk wrote:the 2 nuts you can see are holding the rod end that pokes out of the tube. you can see the half inch bolt that hold the rod end into the original bracket.
It looks like i will moving the steering knuckle closer to the bulk head and then a straight run down to rack, it will actually have less of an angle and no more joins, but is quite a bit of work. hey ho!
