Are you going to flare the door to come out to meet the rear wing
but looking good and still has the classic look

No - not at this stage, I can't face any more bodywork! - it actually looks better than in the picture as the shadow acentuates that area - in reality it follows the curves much better....

I know how you feel I am trying to get mine ready for painting and after removing the flash lines finding hundreds of air bubbles all along them lots of filling and rubbing down also repairing the damage to the rear arches when bringing the shell up the road
also bonding the front back on after deciding not to have the flip front
but really it is all good fun.

Yup - fun most of the time - but after 8 hours of glassing, filler and sanding I find I'm badly in need of a cold beer

why did you decide not to have the flip front? i think you may come to regret that in the future!

Hi alec
After a lot of looking at it I just did not like the look of the lines. I think the RT you can get away with it as at the rear of the front arch you have the shaped part which the cut starts from but the classic does not have this and felt iy looked a bit naff. Since bonding back on feel it was the right move but I am sure will come to regret it when I have to do any major work to the engine, will cross that bridge when it comes around.
On the good side it is almost ready for paint
