Hi Stu

Yep, it was my first proper sprint in the dry, so was quite pleased really.
By the end of the day I'd mentally got the picture of where to be on track, & what was needed to set a good time.
Stringing it all together... that was another thing. :x

Most importantly I've been driving the car regularly, so know what its going to do on the brakes, corner entry/ power-on exit, etc. It also properly told me what I didn't like - brake pedal feel, ie how late to leave it - that's where the most time is lost !

Upgrade project is on again, don't think it'll get finished much before mid-June. !
Will spectate/marshal at Abingdon, as we're in Greece the week before & get back on the Thursday night.

I'll be happy if I can get a Gurston school day in, a couple of track days, & the FDMC Eelmoor Sprint.
Anything else is a bonus, but means I'd need to buy a trailer, longer travel, overnights, etc.
Budget dictates that'll be later.

Matt

Just looking at your rollbar Matt , isn't it the same height as mine :?: Thought you'd asked me at the time to measure mine. Mine's 23 inches to the top edge of the bar , from the flat inner f/glass body behind the seats , then my head plus helmet is almost 5 inches below the bar top edge .
Possibly your seat is in a mounting frame :?: Mines touching the steel seatpan , with rivnuts set into the seat bottom. Then I've got pieces of alloy tube with hose over them (bolts through these into the rivnuts/front) to lift the seat front up 60mm's .

If yours has a frame then sitting it on the deck at the back will gain 40mm's -- check out my circuit pic's

Hi Rob
there's some history there... ( & it's too late now :-) )
We measured yours, Tim added a but on, then asked Caged to make it.
Caged took too long, so Tim cancelled with them & had it made locally.
The one that subsequently arrived was shorter than first ordered, but got fitted anyway.
