My car was completed in June 1998 after a 18 month build period, still with ongoing modifcations, running a 1998cc vauxhall 16v dohc with SBD taper trottle injection bodies putting out 225bhp at the flywheel a BGH Geartech 5 speed rocket box provides the gears allied to a flowtech alloy casing and a SBD alloy bellhousing ,outback is a live axle with a 3.89  diff ratio,tranx LSD,with fiesta fwd brake discs,serria calipers. Front suspension features 2.8 capri uprigths mated to gertrac alloy hubs and willwood 4 pot calipers acting on the standard escort solid discs, steering is via a Mk2 escort quick rack and column lighting is pre '65 vw, suzuki cappuccino side/indicator up front and fiat coupe at the rear. Dax cobra power bulge was added to bonnet to clear the taller vauxhall engine,all bodywork painted fiat sprint blue and has just been featured in September 2000 Which Kit magazine.
