SSC Stylus being built, now about 60% complete. 1600cc ford cross flow engine ( rebore, reground crank, Kent fast road cam, twin 40 Dellortos, 4 branch manifold). Sierra 'type 9' 5 speed box, live rear axle, will be painted metalic blue.

Click for larger picture   Rear axle, links and tank installed. Tunnel drilled for ally panels.Note dummy shockers.
Click for larger picture   Front suspension and steering complete (minus shockers).
Click for larger picture   Dropping engine in to mark out engine mount holes. This was a tricky job to get the engine far enough forward to allow space for clutch arm. Near side engine mount hole is at very front of triangular plate in chassis , had to make up special nuts.
Click for larger picture   Inner body installed. Notice I used the wrong rivets! Drilled them all out and did it again with correct large head rivets.

Click for larger picture   The dreaded doors.I ended up using 12 strips of ally to get the doors to line up properly.
