Building the car with my stepfather (the technical expert) as a motorcycle replacement having recently sold my Suzuki TL1000S. Started July 2000 and we now have a rolling chasis. Estimate first stage finish date by Christmas (hopefully!), using a temporary Capri engine to obtain SVA and Reg plate SOU919S. We are talking to Interpro at Thornbury to spec a 2.0L Zetec engine for installation early spring. At the moment we are unsure if we will opt for carbs or fuel injection. Further engine work and rolling road time is planned throughout the summer. We are attempting to spec for fast, curvy road and track work and possibly hillclimbs. We are aiming for 200BHP ish, but have an open mind to the eventual spec.
