Re: Part built stylus RT

Good to see you have 'broken cover' and started posting. I'll watch your progress with interest. I won't meddle, but if there is anything you don't understand, particularly about things that are unique to my build, please text me, and I'll do my best to help.

Re: Unfinished Stylus RT For Sale

This vehicle is now sold. The new owner has a wealth of professional and personal support available to him. I wish him well with the car and hope will make himself known to you all.

Ill leave him to introduce himself to you.

Powder coated and overcoated with grey smoothrite. Mk II Escort rack with SSC extensions for RT. SSC supplied coil-over shocks, chosen for road...

Re: IVA paperwork

I have started wading throught the 260 odd pages of the IVA manual from the link earlier in this thread. The first snag I have encountered is Required Standard 4 on page 1 of 3 of section 09A Braking Systems, which seems to insist on diagonal split not fore /aft split as Styluses and most kit cars s...

Pete / Matt

Have you offered up your windscreen to the hole? My issue with poor fit is still unresolved. If yours needs a tweak now might be the best time to do it.

Re: Is everyone hibernating? Brr winter's a coming

Alex,

Sorry if I misled you, my cars not for sale, but you are welcome to come for a play and a chat. As I'm not trying to sell anything you might get a less biased understanding of the cars in general...

Re: Is everyone hibernating? Brr winter's a coming

Alex H,
If you are north of Worcester you are my neighbour, I live in the city itself. I have a part-built Stylus, on hold due to financial problems. PM me if you would like to get in touch, maybe come and kick the tyres?

Re: Side Window Seal Cutout?

Yes, I think you should. The vertical lip along the top of the door is then in line with the lip on the rear of the screen frame when the door skin is aligned with the wing.

Re: bunch of parts

On the subject of windscreens see Wayside Adhesives Direct on ebay for the bonding kit £10.99 + £3.99p&p whereas Car Builder Solutions is £24.00 + p&p

Same brand exactly!
