Headlamps on E-bay

I've just put some replica Porsche 356 headlamps as used on some Stylus on ebay; item No. 151272035532. If someone off here wants to bid I'll reduce the postage to £5.

Cheers

Re: Axle Identification

Hopefully you can see the attached picture. The bolts on the Atlas axle are symmetrical side to side whereas the Koln are asymmetric. As already suggested I'd leave it in until it brakes.

Re: More work & £££ !

No problem, just didn't want you to come a cropper. T'other Matt Matt, Doesn't the 2.8 box have a different length input shaft? T'other Matt It did before I cut the shaft down to size. Had the 2.8 box behind the Zetec before. The gear ratios were much better suited, just the 1st gear is a bit short....

Re: Blyton Track Day 15th April

Rob (CMA) are your dampers Topped out without you in the car? I ask because if you have no initial sag from the weight of the car some of your weight may be overcoming the pre-load before the suspension starts to compress. Dropped a bollock in my previous post; the dampers are mounted part way along...

Re: Blyton Track Day 15th April

Rob (Stylussprinter)18st is near enough 250lbs, the damper/ wheel ratio on a Stylus is near enough 1:1 all round so 250 lbs is enough to depress one of his rear springs by 1" or both by 1/2"so even allowing for the majority of the drivers weight being distributed over the rear wheels I wou...

Re: Lower front wishbones

Fairy Snuff :-) I didn't know about the boots splitting, I was just wary of the speed at which SBs can ware out if you’re not scrupulous about keeping them clean and the fit of the taper pin to the SB looks like a potential trouble spot.

Matt,
Why do you want to get rid of the Sherpa joint? I can understand replacing the inner plastic bushes with SBs to allow more adjustment but not the Sherpa joint.
