Roll on the summer............

Managed to get the Stylus up and running yesterday after its enforced winter ‘hibernation’. Have learnt that the best way to get her going is to pour some fresh petrol into the top of the twin Webbers and make sure the battery is fully charged before attempting to start her up (and a squirt of oil d...

Rolling Road Session

Finally got the Stylus back on the road this year (it’s a long story), and took it to BD Engineering at Newington for a rolling road session, along with my brother in law’s Alpine. Would thoroughly recommend Andy at BD Engineering, initial BHP was 111, after a lot of head scratching it turned out th...

Re: Zetec engine mounts wanted

Managed to get a brand new pair off of eBay - £68 including the mounting rubbers. Fury sport cars said they would fit the Stylus – proof of the puddings going to be in the eating!

Zetec Inlet Manifold Options?

Considering my options for a Zetec inlet manifold – seem to be a lot of Rover inlet manifolds around at the moment with the adaptor plates or fitting to the Zetec head. Has anyone tried this approach before – any ideas if the rover manifold fits under the Stylus bonnet without fouling anywhere?

Zetec engine mounts wanted

Decided to bite the bullet and remove the crossflow and upgrade to a zetec. Starting to pull the required ‘bits’ together and keen to hear from anyone who has got a set of zetec engine mounts that are surplus to requirements or any other bits and bobs required for a zetec install.
