Re: Speedo Sensor

Where have you guys mounted your speedo sensor? Have thought about doing a bracket off the gearstick plate and having the magnets on the front of the prop shaft. Cant imagine that the prop will move back n forth that much in operation. Looked at mounting off the diff at the rear, but will be tricky...

Re: BOT-V for sale...

I've been contacted by someone looking to buy this car but they can't register on the forum to post themselves. With it seemingly being a known car by some on here is there anything above the basic description that would be worth knowing about the car? Any particular upgrades, faults or things to lo...

Re: BOT-V for sale...

Looks like a bit of a dealer from the other cars ou can see around it in the pictures. But as Rob says, still quite a cheap car for the spec.

Re: BOT-V for sale...

That seems stupidly cheap for what looks like a very tidy car. Seen others up for a lot more but no where near as tidy.

Re: Just checking before I order up

I had 200lbs springs on the rear and I'm a fair bit heavier than Rob but my car was for road use. If I had kept it I would have dropped down to 180lbs as the 200lbs kept the ride a bit too firm and height a bit too high for my liking, also I would have gone to 200 or 220 on the front from my 250lbs'...

Re: Radiator mounting

If a radiator is angled it will provide more air resistance, allowing better heat transfer to the air as the air takes a bit longer to travel over the fins. There is an optimum limit to the angle, someone on LCB did a load of analysis into it. One thing to note: angle or not, air will find the easie...

Re: IOWCC 2015 Season

ROUND 6 - Isle Of Wight College Must make a roof of sorts. Thinking a half-hood type one but I need to decide how best to mount it at the rear as I only have the low roll bar so it'd need raising up to fit my head under. This is what I did on mine Used one of the original roof bars. This had a stra...
