Re: New gearbox parts
What ratios did you go for?
I have heard that he does a proper long 1st.
I've got a BGH E8 in the Fury (tuned zetec) which is good, but im thinking first could be a bit longer as in the Alps on the hairpins im sort of between gears.
Maybe i just need a bigger pair and go a bit quicker.

Re: T5 in a stylus
That'll be an English axle killer if not heavily modified or did you fit a narrow Atlas :?: Still on the english axle, and I think the lack of traction will still come into play, but I will go and see Phil peacock about such things. Phil peacock is the guy that built the drive trains for fords wrc ...

Doesn't 5th get mangled when you open the box up?
Wouldn't a BGH E8 box do or something from spc gearboxes?

A few of the Fury guys have something similar but it looks like a pair of underpants from above as they have two semi circular zipped cut outs to make getting in an out easier. one drivers side one passenger side.

Re: Pro comp/ protech dampers

Shooter I did this side ways step (not an upgrade) and found that the roller bearings were pushing on the steel tube and ever so slightly dented it. (It was actually MikeB off here that spotted it.) I think it comes abou...
