Re: Jill Judd half hood for sale
I'd rather just send it to you (my cost if it's no good) as I get Parcel Force picking up everyday from my business and I just don't have the time at the moment to make a special trip, very busy with work .....

Re: Jill Judd half hood for sale
I'm happy to post it to you and you can give it a go if you like - I'll give it a good measure up first though. You could always adjust the front of the material where it attaches to the fibreglass bar as it's only glued on, so you could make it shorter to compensation for my bar leaving back a bit.

Jill Judd half hood for sale
Luckily it wasn't on the car when it went up in flames. I'll take a couple of pictures of it and measure it up, basically fits a slightly wider and higher than standard rollbar, comes with front fixing bar, just needs a couple of fasteners on the top of the windscreen. Comes with it's own bag. Attac...

Re: My car just went up in flames
Pikies got the wheels and tyres, not much else left....
Yes, agreed value, fully comp insurance, so hopefully will all go smoothly....
Anyway - thanks to everybody on here for all their help with the build - don't know if I'll build another one, think I need a break now!

Re: My car just went up in flames
Nope, no idea, was burning as I got out of the car, so I just got away quick......
Going up there this morning to try to salvage anything - though the pikies will probably have been at it by now, then get the insurance company to call the recovery truck.

My car just went up in flames
Bugger me, that was a bit of an evening - went out for an early evening drive up some local country roads, engine started cutting out, so I pull over, next thing I know there's flamers coming out of the bonnet vents. Got out very quickly (seen too many movies with cars exploding), got to a safe dist...

Re: Finally got the Stylus on the rollers - 300bhp!!!
Sounds fantastic mate, sorry if I sounded doubtful to start with, but you can guess how many people have said to me 'I fancy putting the same engine in as you - can't be too hard or expensive'!!! Bloody hell, 6 weeks, you've got your work cut out - what are you going to do with the bonnet to fit it ...

Re: Finally got the Stylus on the rollers - 300bhp!!!
Ahhhh, well that explains a lot then. So, to answer your questions, I don't know about your rad as I only run 300bhp, I use an independent rear end so will be completed different to yours, as for the ratio's I honestly can't remember, it was 4 years ago I did all that. Your best place for technical ...

Clearly not!!!
Well, the labour might be cheap, but the parts alone will be more than £1200 .....

Re: Finally got the Stylus on the rollers - 300bhp!!!
I'm running the S14a engine. I wouldn't bother going for 380bhp, 300bhp is almost too much anyway, I tend to use it on low boost (about 250bhp) most of the time, it will spin the wheels in the dry in a straight line in second gear. I use a triple core caterham rad rated to 350bhp and it does the job...

What head light surrounds?
A mate has the older style Stylus with the sloping Porsche style headlights. The chrome rings are rusting, but he doesn't know where to get replacements.
Any ideas? Are we talking Europa or Pilgrim who do the speedster?
Cheers
