Re: 4AGE engine and bonnet clearance

Matt Its very difficult to say what clearance I have between the top of the engine and the bonnet so the nearest I could come up with was to place a straight edge across the top of the wings and measure the gap beneath it to the top of the engine. At no point did I have less than 35mm. With the bonn...

Re: Manifold

Certainly can't fault your logic going to a 20v. I've had one in mine from the start and rate it very highly. Great little engine. Throttle bodies put it on electronic ignition omex or some such and mine runs around 145bhp @ the flywheel and limited to 7800. Raw have a very nice, if a little expensi...

Re: Manifold

Well I have tried to get some pics!!! not the easiest place to photograph. The pipes come from the head until they are over the chassis rail and then come together in a bundle running along the rail until they join together in the 4 way collector. As best I can measure they are all around 30" f...

Re: Manifold

I didn't construct the manifold for my 4age engine as Peter Powell supplied mine. At the time if I remember correctly Mel from Raw was able to supply a manifold plate to join to. If you want any pics of mine let me know and I will try and take something meaning full

Rob

Turned out no to be the bushes. With the car jacked up and no weight on the front wheels, there was a couple o mm's of slack between the spring seat and the spring. Adjusting the spring seat on the damper by a turn stopped the movement.

Poly bushes

Having just had my first mot, yes the car is over 3years old. My very nice mot man gave me a Advisory notice, he could have failed it, with the play on the lower front suspension bushes. Any one know where I can get a replacement set and what the correct part number should be? 7,200 miles on the clo...
