I spotted on Tim,s orange car some very small bullet type lights that also hold on the number plate. Two jobs in one. They were no bigger than std size no-plate bolts. 8)

I am going to build the whole thing myself. I tried contacting all the companies who said " from £4700" but when you added all the extras it was more like £8000 and I simply don't have that sort of money. Scholar were brilliant and so were Robspeed, but when you can get all the bits from ...

I used to build computers for a living. All the time I would get people coming to me and say, I have got all most all the bits it just needs this and that. I used to put 25% on all the drives and boards. This would cover a fault. In the end I got P*$$*d off with folks asking, and told then to go awa...

Jeff True As i seem to have to much time on my hands i've been surfing again,th...

Power to weight

 Got my thinking head on. 285bhp is required if a car is 710kg for a power to weight 400 bhp per ton 170bhp, car weight 570 = power to weight of 298 bhp per ton. 230bhp, car weight 570 = power to weight of 403 bhp per ton. So the next big question is. Is it cheeper to pay for horse's, or to pa...

Very impressed :D Tim said they no longer do a chassis for the V8. He said it unbalances the car. He also said that these type of light weight cars are about a well set up car. He reconed about 80% of the cars out there are not set up as they should be. Before going there I wanted something with 250...

Went to Wales the weekend for a spin, well to SSC to be exact , what a blast :D. Got there around 10, had a chat, coffee and a laugh with Tim about the time he passed me. Then went up to his workshop. He has a nice little set up for a small unit, there even two chassis hanging off the ceiling. He sh...
