Re: Blacktop Zetec - Jenvey throttle bodies

186 bhp Zetec

Hi all, It's a 1.8 silvertop. Raceline's 'fast road' head with Raceline's RL200 cams. The bottom end is stock except for ARP big end bolts. It doesn't have a sump or a flywheel. It made 186bhp on emeralds RR on throttle bodies. £900 ono Brighton phone on 07934 452347 or PM or email mikeburke80@hotma...

Sold

Sad day for me. After 16 years of fun, the Stylus has been sold. Bought by a Frenchman from the Pyrenees. Ludovic already has a blue stylus bought 6 years ago from Nottingham. I'm sure it has gone to a good home. It is ironic that in getting it ready for sale the Stylus has never looked better.........

Re: Mike B Stylus for sale on pistonheads

Heading back to Sydney. A good few hours flight longer to KL than Perth. My wife was born in Malaysia and still has family. Her cousins husband still races sports cars in Malaysia and in Europe. His name sounds like Ummum.(sp) I could get the car to Oz if I could convince Tanya its worth more there....

Re: Mike B Stylus for sale on pistonheads

Yes, I'm quite sad to let it go. Tanya, my wife, says I can take it to Australia..........if I shred it 1st. Might be able to talk her around if I can argue that it's worth more out there.

Value?

As much as it will break my heart it looks like I'm not going to be able to take the Stylus back home to Australia. It's been over 16yrs and been a lot of fun but I'm going to have to move it on. So what is the market like at the moment? I'm sure its not as good as I would like. Evenso, can anyone h...

Thanks Rossco, I check out the sites. I shouldn't have a problem getting it over there, had it since 1997!
Cheers Mike

Re: Engine out/investigate gearbox

Rob and rossco, if the weather is good I might drive the stylus up to Manchester from the south coast on Saturday the 8th. I could detour via Aston Clinton. Will you still be around? Rossco, I' m also an Aussie, been living here 22yrs but heading back to sydney in December. I haven't yet looked into...

Re: Stylus Register

Hi Glynn, use epoxy instead. No smell, goes off quicker and doesn't shrink and pull shapes in the panel. Down side is it is a little more expensive and must be mixed more accurately. Mike
