Front indicator
Hello Everyone!
Does anyone have the same front indicators as me and if so do you know what car they are from?
Mine has died of water ingress.
This is what it looks like:

Re: Ultimate Understeer. :/
The rod is bent because it was hitting the diff when the car squats.
An ARB will have to be on the shopping list but if I stiffen the rear springs will I have to change the fronts as well? And what kind of Spring rate will I have to go for?

Re: Ultimate Understeer. :/
The suspension is all Protech, fronts are 12in open shocks with an 8in 300lb Spring and the rears are 15" open with a 10in 250lb spring. I do much prefer a loose rear end, I really hate fighting understeer. No video to hand and that is probably for the best! :D I did one run in second and it di...

Re: Ultimate Understeer. :/
Indeed. :/
I bent that at Castle Combe last month. Not 100% sure what can be done about that either. I think I might have to start from scratch on it.

Ultimate Understeer. :/
I am just starting down the road to use my car for Autosolo, I had fun doing it in my MX5 last year but want to use the Stylus for it now. To that end I have put a quick rack and an LSD on it (and lengthened the final drive ratio to make it nicer on the road) Rob helped me loads with the handling la...

Re: petrol tank
Does the tank intrude on the original boot space? I can't quite see the height in the picture.
I think I am going to need a new tank at some stage, mine is quite rusty and 30 litres does not go far at all if I have my foot down.

Re: Fancy Headlights
Looks like a really good job on those headlights but I don't think I can do the same without a front end respray. I will have a look at crystal lights, better bulbs and see if I can get mini surrounds to tidy up the edges. Really I should be looking at less tired suspension that can handle the extra...

Fancy Headlights
I was just having a browse on the forum, I saw a picture of Se7ensport's car and I like the headlights a lot more than mine. What are they from and will they fit my 2001 Stylus? You can tell it is spring as I am looking for way to spend more on the kit car again. :) Hope he doesn't mind me stealing ...

Re: Do we know these?
Hi Joe Bit of a slow reply! I haven't been on here for a while, I just logged on to find out what front lower ball joint I need. Sherpa van right? I blew the bottom end on the engine that was in the car when you went in it and the replacement is healthier, although I still haven't had the VVT spike ...

Re: Do we know these?
The getrag box is shorter and lighter than the Ford box but of course the bell housing is wider because of the wider engine. It fitted with no chassis mods other than a new mount and some unnecessary bits trimmed off the box. It is too tight though and whenever the engine comes out again we are goin...

Re: Do we know these?
Hello! Yes it is a VVT spike that can be mapped out but it is quite fun when it happens! The build thread on Thrll is a bit weak, the current status is the car is on the road but has a list of niggles including a hole in the bonnet and a radiator that is too small so I will drive it this summer and ...
