Yes, I do.
Well, I know of the car via a mutual friend who's been helping out with it and is still heavily involved with the SXOC. Its owner knows of this forum and lurks I believe.

Re: Do we know these?
That's a good lump of power, but it looks suspiciously like VVT controlled on/off rather than PWM from looking at the torque spike after 4k. Still, I bet it goes like stink and sounds great doing it!
Re: Do we know these?
Hello!
Yes it is a VVT spike that can be mapped out but it is quite fun when it happens!
The build thread on Thrll is a bit weak, the current status is the car is on the road but has a list of niggles including a hole in the bonnet and a radiator that is too small so I will drive it this summer and work on it over the winter again.
Some before and after pictures:

Re: Do we know these?
The getrag box is shorter and lighter than the Ford box but of course the bell housing is wider because of the wider engine. It fitted with no chassis mods other than a new mount and some unnecessary bits trimmed off the box.
It is too tight though and whenever the engine comes out again we are going to have to make a bit more space in the tunnel.
The Jag ratios are very long so I have shortened the diff ratio a lot as well, probably too much but it is still very much work in progress.

Re: Do we know these?
Best knowledge around your chosen lump into a Stylus is from CHill on this forum who worked with TIM SSC many years back ---- he did this and still has the Stylus RT plus JAG lump .
I'm wondering if you built the Stylus or bought it ------ perhaps Bob Wilson's build 1.8lt zetec Raceline engine 190bhp side exit exhaust

Hi Matt
is the integrale engine 8 or 16valve.
bought myself one of them multi tool cutters it was delivered today so going to bite the bullet and the front is coming of at the weekend. already sold the engine. and ordered a pedal box so the footwell is being made shorter. which in turn helps the getrag plus I now have a bottle of argon so the tig will be getting a blast and the bell housing is having a nip and tuck

Re: Do we know these?
Good to meet you yesterday Oli and cheers for a quick blast around Instow in the V6 monster
Re: Do we know these?
Hi Joe
Bit of a slow reply! I haven't been on here for a while, I just logged on to find out what front lower ball joint I need. Sherpa van right?
I blew the bottom end on the engine that was in the car when you went in it and the replacement is healthier, although I still haven't had the VVT spike mapped out even though the tuner is going to do it for free.
Also saw the news that the Stylus will be back and in my part of the world, great news!

Ben said you'd been having fun with that. Saw a few snaps from the SXOC Weekender too
