Mine adjust the opposite way to the blue one pictured there. The adjuster is fixed on the buckle end not the attachment point end so you do them up by pulling outwards and the adjuster hits the seat bolster.

I was thinking something along these lines - http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorspor ... ness-black - the 2" lap belt looks like it'd sit a little more nicely too, as well as having the adjusters running in the right direction (pull inwards to tighten).

Sitting and looking at it, I think it's the style of the harness that's the biggest problem - the way the shoulder straps attach mean that the adjusters are right out to one side and hit the bolstering on the seat. It also feels a little high - like the buckle should be sitting lower across my lap than it is, but I think that's mostly because it's near impossible to pull it down enough with the room available.

What kind of buckles does everyone else have? Maybe I should swap out for the aero buckle style rather than this seatbelt buckle one?
I had exactly these Willans cheapie ones originally, woefully poor. And I'm a skinny 10st 32waist type of guy
Swapped to a 3" LUKE setup with aero buckle which are much better with pull up leg straps - LUKE/CORBEAU are near Brighton & have a cut template for Stylus/Fury/Striker, etc. You can call them directly - 01424 854499
The only way to avoid the submarine action is go 5/6 point, but the are no mounts for that in the chassis (yet!).
