I talked to ELITE GEARBOXES at Stoneleigh last weekend and asked had they sorted the problem I mentioned regarding SBD's sprint Westy Corsa which had their box in it. They said it took them a while to realize that the problem was with selection not gears/bearings. Apparently their transaxle opperated by cable was fine which led them to suspect selection on the inline box which was opperated by an actuator . It was throwing the gears in too hard/fast but is now sorted so I know exactly which box I want when the time comes. Half Quaife's price , all alloy , smaller plus cassette gears removable from the prop' end !!! Just waiting for a windfall now before ordering a 2.3 Duratec 280bhp / 210 ft.lbs to drive the Elite box !!!
