Getting to the guages

Post by Shooter63 »

I've got a problem with 2 gauges, the water temp and fuel, as in they have stopped working. As I'm colour blind I don't tend to fiddle about with this type of thing. I've asked a mechanic I know who seems to think I could be a blown resistor
The question is, how do you get the dash out, as I can't find any screws?

Depends on who built the car. My dials area dash is mounted on brackets I bonded into the bodywork , then the top of the dash is screwed onto brackets bonded around the front lower screen area. The rear edge of the top dash is VELCRO'd onto the dails area dash. Some idiots of course will have fixed it permanently
I just love the Stylus but she keeps swallowing £££ !
