Roll cage

Post by maddog »

Can anyone point me in the right direction for a roll cage? Its for track days and not racing so wont need to adhere to the blue book.

Ive a feeling there isnt anything 'off the shelf' '?

Nothing off the shelf I’m sorry to say.

If you are going to get one made you may as well get it to MSA specs as there shouldn’t be much difference in the cost if it’s made properly, it will also give you future options to compete and would help with resale value if you decide to move it on.

I had my cage made by Caged, there is a thread on here somewhere...

I thought as much. How much am i looking to spend on a bespoke cage? Or is a taller roll hoop a cheaper option?

I don’t recall exactly, but it was around £1600.

You might be able to get a taller bar from the guys who have taken over SSC; https://www.siltechracing.com/contact-us
