It's funny how things can drag on, just about the time this forum went down I decided to do a turbo upgrade, at first everything was going well, engine/gearbox out , engine stripped for heavy hone for new forged pistons, crank polish etc gearbox taken to specialist for a re-build and SP semi helical gear set, rear axle re-built with quaife slipper 3.54 diff and bearings all round. I soon found that trying to squeeze a quart into pint pot wasnt going to be easy, just working out the intercooler pipe runs was a nightmare, the time just seems to slide by. When i lifted the dash top i was greeted with a sea of light blue wiring ( who ever built this car needs shooting) who the hell uses light blue wiring for multiple wire runs. As im part colour blind I decided to build a part loom for anything I fitted, so now I have separate switches for most things engine related. To stop you going to sleep I'll bring the story up to date, I've had the engine running but have a fuelling problem, I think one of my new Deka injectors is duff as it's only running on 3, I'm fitting a swirl pot to cure a fuel surge problem ( took the original one out as no room under the bonnet ) which is going in the boot, I'll keep you updated

Sounds like a long job.
Using all the same coloured wires is sort of ok if you label them at frequent intervals but a pain in the a@@e all the same.
Any pictures?

I went one better and made my whole loom using black wires which were stamped with numbers and then lost to legend I had made to show where everything went then promptly lost it. Now have a Premier loom for it.
