Just putting together the fuel system on the Stylus. Its fuel injection, 2.0 Zetec, omex ecu. The high pressure pump is mounted under the rear tunnel cover with its filter. I wasn't going to bother with a swirl pot but now I'm having second thoughts. There are two major questions,
1) where's the best place to fit it? I'm considering either in the passenger rear wheel arch at the back or in the corner of the boot, both with a suitable cover around them.
2) What connections do I need? obviously I need an inlet from the lp pump and an outlet to the hp pump. I think I need a return from the top back to the tank. Should I connect the return from the engine back to the pot or to the tank?
Cheers
Pete

Swirl Pot at rear
Hi Pete
Take a look at Phil's, aka Cerberus, "I've gone mad" in this section a few weeks back...
There's some pictures of my swirlpot setup in the driver's side rear wheel arch of my car, also coincidentally feeding a 2ltr zetec, TBs, & omex ecu !
Cheers

I still can't make up my mind where to put mine either, everywhere looks so vulnerable, i am now looking at mounting it on the chassis rails under the steering column (induction side) at least it will have some protection down there

Must try harder
