How not to sell a car!!

So what engine is it??? Be good to see what the interior looks like, engine bay etc etc etc !!!!

General TLC????

i think i'd probably have put more information than that if i was selling a washing machine. especially as pistonheads is free to advertise including pictures. i've sold a car from there before. quite a good site i think.

I spotted it earlier, the engine is most likely zetec, all I can add to that is that it is seriously over priced or the spec that he forgot to list is significant!

Tim recalls it's a PINTO built by him .

A pinto exits on the drivers side, from the pic I can't see an exhaust hence the conclusion of zetec, it may not even use the sill for the exhaust then????

if it is pinto then I would expect to see an amazing engine spec to justify £14k!

I emailed him for a bit more info and was told it is a factory built car with a rebuilt/reconned Pinto and a Type 9 gearbox that needs replacing. At 15k that sounds a bit over the top even if he has spent 22k on it.

That's an understatemnt to say the least - you could get a great Honda S2000 for that money :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll:

I would have thought 7-8k tops...
