Lubrication ?

Post by stylussprinter »

Seeing as I'm always banging on about REDLINE and ZX1 EXTRALUBE which is expensive , I thought I'd prove the point by telling you what Dunnell Engines has told me regarding the condition of my 2lt Zetec . Having stripped it in preparation for a refresh before fitting throttle bodies ----------- he says he'd be dishonest if he fitted new shells or small ends etc. After 6 yrs of competition he described them as --- '' as new '' :!: I did say to him that it felt/sounded tight and perfect at which he raised eyebrows  saying '' but we'll change the shells though ''
So there it is , all the evidence to justify what I spent every season on lubrication  amazing all the same because I assumed too that shells would be automatically needed after that punishment.
