Roll bar wanted

Post by se7ensport »

I currently have the old heavy narrow and low roll bar, does anyone have a modern one for sale before I get a custom one made?

Cheers

I have an origonal style Rollbar Fitted, but I'm not happy with it.
I dont believe that its high or wide enough for the job. So if you get one made up I may wish to add to the order.

Cheers Kev.

Thanks for the pic Roo4, Tim contacted yesterday about roll bars, he's had real trouble with his supplier- he has had 2 sets in the last month that were made wrong.

Kev, I'm hoping Tim will have something sorted over the next month, if I can get them from Tim I will. If not i'll let you know how I get on with prices for a custom one.

Cheers

Did anyone ever get a roll bar sorted, mine looks quite low and i want to use the car for track days so would like something with a little more protection if there is anything available.

Group buy

I've been trying for a while to get one sorted, talking to Caged has been a waste of time so far, however, they had the jig so I've given them a call again to see if they'll make up a batch i.e. 5 at a sensible price.

so who else is interested?

i'm in, an rac style one would be even better although not sure how it would work with the doors but at least just a higher would stop me loosing my head should the worst happen.

I'm still after one.

Mine came from PP, its suposed to ba an RAC spec unit. But reading the Blue Book I dont think its right. Not high enough (I did ask for a high one) & not wide enough.
It is straight up from the chassis fixing brackets, so not enough sholder protection.
