Stylus radiator?

Post by Werner Van Loock »

Doesn anyone know wich radiator is needed for the stylus. It's something I completely forgot about untill I saw the car yesterday evening.

BTW, gardeshed is up and filled/cleared garage, so can commence with the engine and move the car in when engine is ready.

Anyone perhaps have a set of zetec e engine mounts lying around?

If you are running a zetec then a PASSAT DEISEL is a good radiator because both inlet and outlet are on the left -- very convenient. My engine's run beautifully with that rad' and no problems also very cheap :!:
Rob.
I just love the Stylus but she keeps swallowing £££ !

The problem for me is that Tim is too far away from belgium to do the trip in 1 day and if I have to stay over night it will cost me too much (boat/train is also more expensive if staying longer then 24hrs)

Up to Rob's is about the limit.

is there a certain way they have to go? we have our pipes and sensor on the right hand side as this is the only way we could get it to fit and our outlets are that side too!

Pete,
What I said only refers to fitting a zetec as both engine water entrance/exit 's are on the left side of the engine. So the PASSAT DEISEL's perfect for it.

I got a Polo rad of E-bay for £10 it's got both outlets on the same side - probably very similar to the Passat one. It's got no filler cap or breather so could be mounted ether way up.

I used one of those when I built the car but when replacing it after an 'incident' was told the P.Deisel had more cooling capacity
