Hi all I am new to this and could do wih some help please? I am looking for information relating to the car pictured, does anyone know who built it? I belive that the owner / builder lived in the Derbyshire area but that about all I know. The car is now in my ownership and I am trying to trace some history.........

Hi, as you have already found the other post regarding the car i'm afraid we are all at a loss as to who's it was, i did ask on PH but to no avail it is stunning though please put up some details engine/etc sorry its not much help.

What's the chassis number , it must be stamped or plated somewhere on it. ?

Thanks for your response and kind comments ..it is a little bit different and yes the car is still running complete with the big bonnet hidding a fuel injected rover V8! Purrrs like a kitten!
Just in the process of carrying out some minor work and want to paint some stone chips out without a full repaint but I have no idea what the colour code is...... If I ever get to speak to Tim maybe he could shed some light on the car??

As Rob has said a chassis number would give the year, as for colour, it could have had a colour change since new so Tim might not know anyway, have you looked under trim to see if its different colour wise from the pics it looks like a gunmetal of some sort, Ford/VX, theres loads of variations but usually its from a major manufacturer but i could be wrong
