Following on from Chris & Matt's recent posts...
How does everyone feel about getting a list together of the known chassis numbers & who owns (or has owned) what ?
The Stylus remains the rarest of the front engined Sylva's. (and still greatly underated)
Build numbers are small and as time goes on it might be useful to know how many are left & where they are.
Obviously if things change at SSC, & I hope they do, both for Tim & the Stylus as a car, then that info may become available from "the manufacturer".
But it seems quite a few cars are now in the hands of their 2nd or 3rd owner, either finished or part built, or still hidden in a shed never to be completed.
I for one used the network of Stylus builders I got to know as a big backup to my own build, & would be happy to do the same now for those who are still building or modding.
I'm still relying on those guys to help me with the set up of the car, which I never really thought about until quite recently, And what a difference that has made to the driving experience.
So a basic register of chassis no, engine & gearbox type, live axle/de dion/independent rear, & some owner info would serve two purposes.
1. To keep track of the cars
2. To let builders contact someone who has (or is building) a similar car to their own.
An expansion of Werner's contact list really ?!

Surprise surpise, but I have this info, not complete of every car out there, but the mechanics info is quite complete and I have a few chassis numbers. Also in the database I have all current and previous owners are listed. Nothing gets lost actually.
What I will do is publish this list without the personal details, this way everyone can check wether the info is still correct or not as I got it from Jeremy. And also people can send me the missing details then. Is there anyone here that doesn't like this, please tell me then.
