Exhaust surround

Post by Ady8077 »

Hi all

I've attatched a piccy of my exhaust which runs in an opened sill, i had to cut a slot out at the front of the silencer because the pipe was rubbing on the insulation i put in the sill. Problem is i dont like it, any suggestions on covering it up and still leaving room for the pipe?

Thanks Adrian

I wouldn't cover it up , I'd cut out an attractive long oval to miss all pipe work and the silencer by 20mm (f/glass edge to stainless) . If you don't like the exposed look then build an alloy expandamet cover for it as I did on the green car I sold
