Catches for flipfront
Catches for flipfront
What have you guys done for keeping the flipfront shut? I have seen the Dzus clips used and also the rubber strap type thing too. Which is the best? Any tips?

On mine becuase the bonnet still works i used the original catch and Dzus fasteners for the sides which works well but when i graft the bonnet to the flip i dont think Dzus fastners will be strong enough to cope with side flex(if used instead of original catch), i am now thinking of keeping the same set up with the bonnet grafted in, sorry if this doesn't read well but i have just got up after enjoying whatching the French get stuffed again
Must try harder

the aerocatches are strong, easy to fit, aerodynamic, don't vibrate and can be painted if you so wish! that way they won't look unsightly. you can also get them with or without a lock.
i reckon they are pretty good and they are a better option than over centre catches and dzus fasteners which you need a tool to open. what a pain at the side of the road or if you just want to check levels!
i suppose its personal preference at the end of the day!
