I've got the brake brake bias bar and master cylinders supplied by Tim.
I'm running 2 litre sierra brakes on the front and the drum brakes of the escort mk2 axle on the back. Can anyone help me with setting up my bias bar so it will pass sva first time or if not, does anyone know where I can get this done near Bristol or Gloucester?
Thanks for your help,
Alec!

Re: brake bias bar settings
I ran Escortmk2 up front and 9 inch rear drums for SVA --- no bias bar or valve and it passed no prob's. Have you got somewhere you can drive it and brake test before roading it ? If you have then drive it up to a fixed speed , say 60mph - brake hard but progressively to see if the rears lock. If they do repeat the exact same manoever / speed and adjust till they don't. Not very technical but that's what I'd do.alecmartin19 wrote:I've got the brake brake bias bar and master cylinders supplied by Tim.

Not sure what they would find acceptable , it's supposed to look as though it cannot be adjusted ------- perhaps a nicely made little alloy guard box ??? which you can remove via rivnuts ? Long time since mine was SVA'd , really not certain , try Tim.alecmartin19 wrote:i'm sure I can find an airfield to drive it on to do that. Might be able to have a little play with it while i'm there too!
Whats the best way to lock it into position for sva? I don't really want to weld nuts in place!
cheers for your help!!
