Just to put into full perspective, not to correct Rob in any way but to illustrate

how these things grow out of all proportion,on the day Tim was told that all in all losing would cost in excess of 50 000 quid.

He would have lost his house and everything.

Whilst I still think it is a crying shame that all those with these cars will probably now struggle for support(except for within this forum I hasten to add),I do understand why Tim probably wont be focussing on the business much now .People tend not to try and sue you over a bit of splilled paint when you are decorating!!

But that would have cost him more that he probably could not afford.

Maybe we should look to see if there is anyway in which we can encourage him to rither pick up the Stylus business again or to sell it on.

Is there enough support on this list to set up a limited company and buy Tim out and then run the show?

I am more than willing to help, & all the better if Tim comes back on the scene.

Specialist Sports Cars Limited was dissolved 30/10/2007 according to companies house - was this the company Tim was trading as or still P. Powell's?
See:

I know someone who will set up a limited company cheap and do the accounts - just say if a price is needed. You can do all the paperwork yourself, and someone may be versed in doing so here.

There is so much that could be done to enhance the product and evolve it - Tim had lots of ideas of what to do, just obviously not the funds and resource to do all.

Nope, Tim's business was called stylus sports cars. Specialist sports cars was pete's business.

But I see that the address is Tim's, so I'm a bit confused.

Hmm that's interesting as the "contract" that has been mentioned must have been with Specialist Sports Cars then and as Tim did not buy that company only the Stylus brand then he never would have had any responsibility anyway, I just hope that he gets his costs paid.
Tim realy should have run it as a Ltd Company though and kept all liabilities there.
