I put mine on alloy plate then SIKAFLEXED it to the chassis on the drivers side 25mm tube at the base of the front rocker tower. However , this was done only after the registration was done because they give you the Vin number . So it's SVA then registration. Some people , early on when P.Powell had SSC got away with using the SSC chassis number but I was told '' no way '' . The engine number will be on the block somewhere --- if a zetec , it's just above the crank sensor along the edge of the block where it joins the bellhousing. They'll want a torch and mirror to read it. You can stick your SSC chassis number wherever you like , possibly ontop the pedal box or bulkhead BUT the vin number MUST be permanently attached to the chassis.
Good luck with the SVA
I just love the Stylus but she keeps swallowing £££ !

I understand that now you need to stamp the vin number on the chassis as well as have the vin plate attached.
