Steve .
Mine seems to be the same, i was thinking of having it re-fitted.

Just fitted my windscreen. It was a genuine origional item from a Lotus Elan s2 bought second hand off ebay for £30!

I bought a bonding kit also off ebay for £12, the screen fitted perfectly first time and was very easy, I was supprised how easy it was. I have sourced some generic rubber trim from car builder solutions to finish it off.

I suspect the reported problems from other builders of screens not fitting lie in the "copy" windscreens, not in the Stylus body moulding windscreen aperture.
