His isn't the only Stylus that got back without incident. I've just come back from 1850 mile trip, mostly in the rain, 410 miles yesterday in the pouring rain - averaged 71 mph for the whole of yesterdays journey 8) - I reckon i did 1000 miles on adrenalin alone - those roads in the Vosges mountains are something else-glad i fitted that Quiaffe ATB now too....
Am still slightly peeved that France weather was cr*p - I left all the good weather here!

Well i fitted the engine tonight and it purrs like a kitten, now i have taken it out again just to move/tidy up wiring and re-route fuel lines as i have done away with the external swirl pot, i am going to graft one to my existing tank, then i will book it in for an MOT the end of this month, any ideas how to value it :?:

Value related to cost doesn't seem to impress buyers looking for a bargain BUT appearance , tidyness especially under the bonnet and build spec' does cut some '' ice '' Look at the rusty dirty chassis / suspension I found under the ' green ' Stylus that I sorted and sold.
Bob Wilson has his priced at £6500 and it's very well put together and finished plus has a very high spec'.(Raceline 195bhp with all bells and whistles)

I think it's what you can get Phil and whether you want the cash now or not in a hurry to sell . Start high ish and wait
I just love the Stylus but she keeps swallowing £££ !

While the engine, fuel tank, gearbox and prop were out i cleaned and re-proofed the chassis so it looks as good as new, so i will get it back on the road then decide what to do with it, as the best part of the year starts about August/September it will probably be too late to sell this year anyway
