ACSMC Championships 2009

Post by stylussprinter »

The first event in 2009 is North Weald Sprint , on the 15th March so I'm highly unlikely to be ready for that one  Having said that , if the body came this month , it's possible even if it got entered , half red and half in see through F/Glass  I'm not seriously aiming for that date though
I just love the Stylus but she keeps swallowing £££ !

You can change cars during the championship. But must stay in the same class.

Yes , you can change cars BUT once you do , that's the car you'll have to compete in for the whole series

I've sent off my application form plus money to enter all three Championships for 2009 . That doesn't mean I'll seriously contest all three but it'll allow me to pick a few from each that I like plus a hillclimb again :)

Iv looked at that series but for me its a lot of travelling. I think I'll do the BARC series, (which I have just looked at & seems to be just as much travelling) Could just do my local then - Gurston- but its only 400m long :(

No , it's more than twice that length :) (976 yds  ) The adrenaline is still awesome regardless of it's length because the concentration required to go flat out , starting downhill , means it's all got to be in your head before you're off --- there's no time to make decisions on the way like you can on a circuit

Well if you only do that one then we'll meet up there then -- I haven't been up Gurston for 4 years so want to have another crack at it  What about Goodwood :?: There's two sprints there in 2009 .

Rob. I’m having difficulty booking the dates,- the wife has already bagged the 1st Goodwood event for a long weekend in France. Will try & catch up on some others though. Kevin
